American Screen Printing Association awards Certified Screen Printer (CSP) status to those who pass the ASPA screen printing competency exam. ASPA certification sets a competency standard for those engaged in or planning to work in the field of screen printing and provides recognition to those who demonstrate knowledge of the screen printing craft.
The ASPA Certified Screen Printer (CSP) exam covers basic screen printing practices and procedures with which every screen printer should be familiar, i.e.: general screen printing, graphics/art fundamentals, textile (apparel) and non-textile screen printing techniques. Passing the exam requires a thorough knowledge of screen printing techniques and procedures and covers the important aspects of the screen printing process. The ASPA CSP exam was developed by expert screen printers with years of experience working in professional screen printing shops.
