Our Story:  11x17 Inc. opened for business in 1994 as Lake Industries. Our founder and CEO, Jack Webb, began with making office supplies for 11” x 17” paper storage. In 1997 Mr. Webb incorporated as 11x17 Inc. They initially sold products to engineering firms and construction companies. With continued support from his wife and two daughters, 11x17.com became a full-time business. His son-in-laws have since joined the business and oversee the day-to-day operations. 11x17 Inc. is now a multi-million dollar a year manufacturing company that ships worldwide.

iSignShop was born in 2013 as the demand for having our office products printed with custom logos and insignias increased. The equipment used to produce the custom printed products is the same as what is used in printing political signs. From there we added screen printing equipment that would print on apparel and shirts. We quickly grew to become our local area's number one source for printed t-shirts and jackets. Demand for custom embroidered apparel and caps was brought to our attention so we purchased a smaller industrial embroidery machine. It was not long and our attention to detail and quality craftsmanship made us the largest embroidery business in the region. Demand warranted us to purchase a multi-head industrial embroidery machine where we could mass-produce custom caps and apparel.

We operate from a 220,000 square foot warehouse and office space in Jacksonville, Texas. Our company employs over 30 individuals from diverse backgrounds and demographics. iSignShop has hundreds of thousands of dollars invested in printing, product conversion, finishing, and logistic equipment. We have expanded exponentially in both manpower and equipment since 2013. All our investments and our commitment to our customers have enabled us to excel in producing high-quality printed apparel and marketing products.

With a combined over 45 years of experience and the equipment to provide quality workmanship. We are an in-house printing and embroidery shop. We started like most with only two employees, a vision, and a prayer. We employ onsite graphic artists, an embroidery digitizer, screen printing, sign professionals, and embroidery specialists. We cater to customers big and small, from walk-in customers who want 12 hats for their plumbing company to large industries looking to outfit their whole factory. Our Story: The story of Albany Shirt Shop Corporation began on the sidewalks of Albany, GA in the heart and mind of our father Tim Shelton, Jr. -- a local airbrush artist, painter, wallpaper hangar, and carpenter.

He had two sons, Cedrick & Tim, who spend weekends with him learning the craft and working side by side to build the family business Tim's Artistic Art, LLC way back in 1992.  Over the years, the business evolved into many things, a car wash and detail shop, business sign shop, and by 2005, a screen printing shop.

In 2011, he passed away; but left his two sons the legacy of continuing the legacy of the family business.  Cedrick Shelton later founded The Albany Shirt Shop Corporation in 2014, offering the same products and added embroidery to the list of services.

As the Chief Graphic Designer and proud graduate of Morehouse College, Cedrick manages both businesses with offices in the same two-story building with the same mission, passion and determination to share our family's love of art and craft of screen printing and sign work with the next generation through partnerships, internships, and mentorships with young artists from Albany Technical College, The Goodwill Career Center, Turner Job Corps, Albany State University, Eckerd Connects, and Work Source Georgia.

Our story:  My printing journey started in the winter of 2011 in Afghanistan when I had decided to quit my defense contracting and go into business for myself. I took all the down time I had before departing to watch as much Youtube videos as I could on all aspects of printing and the industry. When I got home I purchased my first 6x4 all in one printing system from Printa Systems, I attended the training and sold my first job to a mechanic shop a week later. Very proud moment, but also a very big learning lesson. haha.  

Like many printers, I started in a garage and due to unfortunate circumstances I was bouncing from garage to garage until I met my first business part and got the shop I've been in for the last 7 years. The first few years I was attending college for business management and running the business full time. It was very tough in the early years to balance everything, but I'm glad I never quit. Today we are doing very well and excited for the future.

My biggest keys to success was the network I formed while in the military.  To this day even having been out for over 10 years it still proves to be the best decision I ever made besides starting Sua Sponte Design.
